Centers within the Golden Empire USBC association’s district responds to CA Governor Gavin Newsom’s executive order putting more restrictions on businesses.
The Governors order came this afternoon during a press conference to update on the COVID-19 Guidelines. Sectors to close indoor operations include: Restaurants, Wineries & Tasting Rooms, Movie Theaters, Family Entertainment Centers, Zoos and Museums, Cardrooms, Bars must close all operations. Counties to be affected also include: Contra Costa, Fresno, Glenn, Imperial, Kern, Kings, Los Angeles, Merced, Orange, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Joaquin, Santa Barbara, Santa Clara, Solano, Stanislaus, Tulare and Ventura.
AMF Southwest Lanes & the BLVD! in Bakersfield CA released today that they will be closing operations for further notice. Taft’s West Side Lanes and Lake Isabella’s Mt Mesa Lanes have not released responses to these new guidelines, but is expected to shortly. Boron’s Edwards Air Force Base hasn’t opened back up since early April, so they are expected to stay closed as well. The Governor’s order as of now is to be in effect for a minimum of 3 weeks.
