–High Five!
– Kudos to local Youth Coach Phil Chow, who continues to help our local youth bowlers and had a serious success story this past Sun., January 5th, working with Nickolas Hogan on his game. Nickolas shot an unbelievable 253 after his session with Phil!

–Weekly Super Scores
– Unbelievable run of natural strikes coming out of Keri Bost when she bowled in the monthly 9 Pin No Tap Special of Coffee Club on Sun., December 29, at AMF Southwest Lanes. First off she started throwing natural strikes during her second game which she finished with strikes. She then found out her name was drawn for the Strike Pot and after having to wait a good ten minutes to be able to move to her next pair of lanes to start her third game and roll her first ball of that game to see if she could win the Strike Pot, she did! She continued throwing natural strikes until well into the third game. She went on to win Singles that day as well as place second in Doubles with her partner Andrew Svoren. That Francisco blood is surfacing. Her game has steadily been improving this season!
– Congratulations to Chris Garcia who was presented his 300 ring from USBC last Thurs., January 2nd, in front of the Lowenders league at AMF Southwest League that he bowled back on September 12, 2019!
– Also TNBA rings were presented last Thurs., January 2nd, in front of the Stockdale Open league at AMF Southwest Lanes by TNBA Rep. Norris Richards to Carlie Medina III for his 800 rolled the last night of Stockdale Open last season and to Tim Henson for his 300 rolled also on September 12, 2019!

Don’t forget to contact Danielle Looney for your very own Coffee Club t-shirt!!

Coffee Club is on Sunday mornings at 12 noon at AMF Southwest Lanes (or sometimes at Mt. Mesa Lanes in Lake Isabella with starting time at 10am). Cost to enter is $20 for 4 games, blind doubles draw. Optional high pots, singles, and 3-6-9. Handicapped and fun bowling with some great local bowlers! And, once a month, a No-Tap Tournament will be scheduled!!

**Strike Pot is a new game we started. It’s about purchasing raffle tickets for $5 each. During the second game we draw one ticket and that person must bowl a strike for the cash in the pot. If a strike isn’t bowled, then that person gets $10 and the amount is rolled over. If a person misses a week or more and chooses to participate for the total, they must pay $5 per week missed; if not, they only get amount raised that day if their ticket is drawn and they bowl a strike.

GET THEM WHILE THEY LAST!! Danielle Looney has created Coffee Club Tee’s!! She is selling them for $20 each and they are available in a variety of colors. You can also have your name put on them (it can be placed on the front below the logo or on the back across the shoulders) for a total cost of $25. If you would like to sport one of these, send Danielle Looney a message on Facebook and you are set!
