With Fall leagues starting the Tuesday following Labor Day, which is Sept. 6, it is important that you, as a league member, make every effort to attend your upcoming league’s meeting. Many league members avoid these meetings because they don’t wish to serve as a league officer, but that should be the least of your worries! You need to be there to help form the rules of the league for this season. Without your input, you have no say on what you want to pay for league fees, or how many weeks you want this league to be on the floor, or how you want the prize fund distributed! As a league member, you need to be at this meeting because once it has taken place and all these items have been voted on, you have no say. Don’t you want to know what is going on?
Most league meetings take place on your first night of league about a half hour or so before your scheduled league start time. Be there this season to help form an even better league that you’ll be proud to say you helped design!!
